Even if I wasn't the inspiration I am not longer the only Rubik's cube on 3D Warehouse with internal components. Clicking on the picture will take you to the model.
It's pretty good too. This guy left the piece's more open, like what you'd find if you cracked open a cube. I presume they do that to save plastic. I've thought about changing mine, or making an alternative cube that has this too.
My only complaint is that his is not to scale. It measure's 1' 9" across. No big deal, there is not much on sketchup to scale.
